Perlane® is used to treat superficial lines and wrinkles but also more pronounced deeper wrinkles (your laugh lines, for example). Perlane® restores volume and fullness to the skin to correct facial wrinkles and folds, giving a smoother, more youthful appearance.

Perlane® is an FDA-approved cosmetic dermal filler made of hyaluronic acid, a natural substance that already exists in the human body. Perlane®’s particle size allows it to contain more hyaluronic acid, therefore filling deeper lines more effectively than other hyaluronic acid fillers.

Studies have shown that Perlane® effects generally last for about six to nine months, although individuals will have varied results. Perlane® can be used to treat a variety of wrinkles and to enhance the appearance of the lip border as well as lip enhancements. A treatment normally takes 15 minutes, although time may vary depending upon the area being treated. The cost of Perlane® is determined by the number of syringes necessary which varies from person to person. On average a person needs between 1-2 syringes.
